Armadillos

The scientific name for the armadillo is a Dasypodidae. They are Omnivores so they eat meat and non-meat. The natural armadillo can weigh up to 120 pounds. Armadillo is a spanish word for little armored one. Most armadillos are found in Texas. The roll into a ball to protect them from predators. Most armadillos have hair on there under belly. There are 21 species of armadillos that we know of. Armadillos are born with an armored cover over their bodies. Armadillos are mammals so they are not born in eggs so they learn how to protect themselves right away.

Bengal Tigers

The scientific name for the bengal is a Panthera tigris tigris. They are carnivores and they weigh about 240 to 500 pounds. The bengal tigers are endangered and the population is dropping. They are know for there power and strength over one another. They are hunted as trophies.
